Charles E. Jones' Bio

Pastor Charles E. Jones is a devoted husband, father, pastor, cancer survivor, and encourager with a heart for helping people navigate life’s challenges. He faithfully served as pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Clute, Texas, for 13 years, leading the congregation with a strong commitment to ministry, missions, and community outreach.

He now serves at One Church at Bethel’s Family as the Pastoral Care Pastor and Director of the Pastoral Care Ministry and Born2Belong. He also provides leadership to the church’s Prayer Ministry. Through these ministries, Pastor Jones helps provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to individuals and families while promoting well-being of the spirit, soul, and body.

As a one-year prostate cancer survivor, Pastor Jones understands firsthand the fear, uncertainty, faith, and courage that can accompany a cancer diagnosis. His personal journey has deepened his passion for encouraging men to take their health seriously, support one another, and have honest conversations about the challenges they face.

As facilitator of the Built to Overcome Men’s Brotherhood Cruise, Pastor Jones will help create a welcoming space where men from all backgrounds can relax, connect, enjoy meaningful conversations, and receive encouragement for life’s journey. His goal is for every man to leave feeling supported, strengthened, and reminded that he does not have to face life alone.
